Files and limits
Select the actual recording saved on your device, not a message link, shortcut or chat export ZIP. It must contain a readable audio track. If it is incomplete, save the original again. The server applies its configured upload size limit.
Processing and privacy
The file is uploaded and processed on the server. The original is removed when processing finishes; the MP3 is removed after a complete download or by temporary-file cleanup. Technical conversion data is logged. Keep your original: MP3 adds lossy compression and repeated conversions do not restore quality.

Which MP3 quality should I choose?
For voice, try 64 or 128 kbps; for music, 192 kbps. A higher bitrate does not restore detail missing from the source.
Can I reduce the size of an existing MP3?
Yes. Re-encode it at a lower bitrate. This adds loss and does not normalize or increase volume.
Do I need to install anything?
